The data controller is the company that operates SlickCell Pro. Its registered name, company number and registered office are being confirmed and will be stated here in full before this policy takes effect.

If you are a shop using SlickCell Pro to serve your own customers, note that the roles differ: for your customers' information you are the controller and we act as processor on your instructions. For your own account and billing information, we are the controller.

If you request a demo we collect your name, shop name, email address, and optionally your phone number, shop type, number of branches, the system you use now and anything you choose to write in the message field. If you use the contact form we collect your name, email address, optionally your shop name, the topic you select and your message.

This website runs no analytics and sets no cookies, so we do not build a profile of your browsing, and we cannot tell which pages you read. See the cookie policy for detail.

Enquiry information is used to reply to you and to arrange a demonstration. The lawful basis is legitimate interests — responding to a business enquiry you initiated — or steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract.

Account and billing information for customers is processed to perform the contract between us. Where we are required to keep records for tax or accounting purposes, the basis is legal obligation.

Shops using SlickCell Pro record information about their own customers, staff and stock — for example a customer's name and contact details against a repair, or an employee's record for rota and payroll purposes. That information belongs to the shop. We process it to provide the service and on the shop's instructions, and we do not use it for our own marketing.

The hosting locations and any transfers outside the UK or EEA, together with the safeguards relied on for those transfers, are being confirmed and will be stated here specifically before this policy takes effect.

We use service providers for hosting, data storage, payment processing and email delivery. The full list, with what each does and where it operates, is being finalised and will be published here. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it with advertising networks.

Enquiry information is kept while we are in contact with you and for a reasonable period afterwards. Customer account records are kept for the life of the contract and for as long as we are legally required to retain them afterwards. Specific retention periods per category are being finalised and will be stated here.

Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to have inaccurate information corrected, to ask for deletion in certain circumstances, to object to or restrict processing, and to receive information you provided in a portable form.

You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. We would prefer you raise it with us first so we can put it right.
